Gothami Girls' College marked සූර්ය මංගල්‍යය 2025 with a vibrant Sinhala-Hindu New Year festival on April 11, featuring age-old traditions that brought the school community together. Students participated in auspicious rituals like preparing traditional sweets such as කිරිබත් and කැවුම්, and competed in festive games including pillow fights, sack races, etc. Cultural performances showcased Cultural dances and music. Principal Mrs. Sunethra Herath lit the ceremonial lamp and emphasized the festival\'s role in preserving cultural values and fostering unity.
